gathered <a href=\"https:\/\/devgeointelstg.wpengine.com\/gray-sky-events-iowa-nebraska-tornadoes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tornado imagery in Nebraska and Iowa<\/a>, a second severe storm system swept across the Plains and Midwest on Saturday, unleashing additional tornadoes and wicked winds.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout Saturday night and into Sunday morning, our Gray Sky team tracked the initial reports of damage. In response, we assigned a pilot and aircraft to two heavily affected areas in Oklahoma. Their initial attempt to collect images on Sunday was hindered by low cloud cover and residual weather. However, by Monday afternoon, some clouds remained yet conditions had improved, allowing the team to successfully gather aerial imagery in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ada, Oklahoma Area<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Sulphur, Oklahoma Area<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This high-resolution aerial imagery is now accessible through the GIC platform and our partner websites. The imagery is collected at a specific resolution and specification to enable AI damage analysis within hours of the imagery being published.<\/p>\n<p>When paired with our property-level damage assessments, this imagery provides comprehensive, time-stamped insights into the extent of the damage, expedites the insurance claims process for GIC members, and supports the early stages of reconstruction.<\/p>\n<p>Our thoughts remain with the impacted communities as they begin to recover from these devastating events.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\"
