Imagery Collected
Thursday, May 22, 2025
Our Gray Sky team collected new fire imagery today over the Camp House Fire in northeastern Minnesota, approximately 35 miles north of Two Harbors. The fire began on May 11 near Brimson and is part of the larger Brimson Complex Fires, which also includes the Jenkins Creek and Munger Shaw fires. Our collection focused on property damage in the Camp House Fire area, where an estimated 140+ structures have been destroyed.
We’ve been closely monitoring this fire, tracking its growth, weather conditions, and restricted airspace. The aircraft crew successfully captured nadir, oblique, and multispectral imagery earlier today using an UltraCam Osprey sensor.
This high-resolution aerial imagery is now in processing and will be edited and published throughout the night. It will be available as soon as possible on the Vexcel Platform. Watch for updates.
Our thoughts are with the community affected by this fire.
