Tornadoes touch down across Michigan

Multiple tornadoes touched down Tuesday evening in Michigan with the hardest hit area being Portage, causing significant damage and destroying multiple homes. In partnership with the Geospatial Insurance Consortium as part of their Gray Sky program and our insurance partners, we have collected detailed aerial imagery of properties damaged by this tornado. This high-resolution 7.5cm oblique and ortho imagery and property-level damage assessments are accessible through the Vexcel Platform and partner sites. Imagery is also available in Esri apps and software via Vexcel Image Services for ArcGIS.

We invite government agencies, telecommunications firms, utility companies, and others who may require this data for response, recovery, and rebuilding initiatives, to contact us. Our thoughts go out to the communities impacted by these devastating tornadoes.
