Gray Sky: Hailstorm in Queensland
Third Wave Imagery Published
Sunday, November 30, 2025
We’ve published high-resolution aerial imagery of more properties hit by the recent Queensland hailstorms. This final round includes new orthos, obliques and multispectral imagery (5.5 – 7.5cm resolution) in areas around Bribie and Bayside. More than four major areas – Logan, Bribie, Bayside, The Gap – were captured to help those who need it identify damaged roofs and smashed solar panels. All imagery is available on the Vexcel platform and third party apps.

Our thoughts go out to the communities affected by these recent hailstorms. We are working with our local partners on additional collections, weather permitting. If you need this imagery to size up the wide-scale damage, sort insurance work or plan rebuilding, please get in touch.
First Wave Imagery Collected
Tuesday, November 25, 2025
Our Gray Sky Team activated today to collect high-resolution aerial imagery of damaged properties and structures impacted by the massive hailstorm that hit Queensland this past week. Nearly 100,000 homes were left without power.
Hail as large as 14cm (5.5″) was reported in Brisbane and wreaked havoc on rooftops and other property features. Our team completed collection of the Logan area and will continue to add additional areas such as Bribie, Bayside, and The Gap.
Oblique and ortho imagery is now available in the Vexcel Platform, including before-and-after views.
Stay tuned for updates and additional imagery from our Gray Sky response of this event. If you need access to this imagery, please fill out the form below to connect with our team.
