Vexcel provides unmatched high-resolution aerial imagery across Florida, capturing detailed data throughout the year—and after major disasters.
Vexcel provides high-resolution aerial imagery and geospatial data collected consistently across all 67 counties in Florida. Check out our coverage map below. From major cities like Miami, Orlando, and Tampa to rural areas and coastal communities, our data supports infrastructure and roadway planning, environmental and utilities analysis, property assessments, disaster response and recovery, change detection, and more.
Vexcel offers three types of orthomosaic imagery in Florida: TrueOrtho, Urban Ortho, and Wide Area Ortho.
Wide Area Ortho is available statewide, covering both urban and rural areas at a 15cm resolution. It provides a broad top-down view ideal for large-scale planning, environmental monitoring, infrastructure management, and more.
TrueOrtho and Urban Ortho are available in metro areas at a 7.5cm resolution, offering detailed aerial imagery that’s ideal for urban planning and property assessments.
Our entire Ortho product line is frequently updated, with metro areas being refreshed up to three times a year, ensuring you have the most current data for your projects.
Shift your perspective with high-resolution Oblique imagery and take a virtual tour around all four sides of a home, building, or area. Enhance your inspections or asset monitoring by identifying concerns or issues that wouldn’t be visible from a traditional straight-down view.
Oblique imagery is available in major cities and metro areas in Florida.
Vexcel offers elevation models for the entire state of Florida in both digital surface model (DSM) and digital terrain model (DTM) formats. This data is collected and processed alongside our orthomosaic imagery, providing an accurate pixel-to-data match that is helpful for measuring area and height.
Plus, this alignment allows you to analyze imagery and elevation details without data shifts.
Using its market-leading UltraCam sensors, Vexcel collects a near-infrared color band while capturing aerial imagery of urban and rural areas across Florida. This expanded color spectrum, invisible to the human eye, enhances the ability to distinguish between living and non-living objects.
This specialized imagery is particularly valuable for understanding Florida flood zones, impervious surfaces, and vegetation health.
In partnership with the insurance industry, Vexcel collects, processes, and delivers disaster imagery of properties affected by major events like hurricanes and tornadoes.
Providing rapid access to this post-disaster imagery enables insurers, government agencies, and others to understand the full scale of the impacted areas, respond and triage teams more effectively, and begin the rebuilding efforts.
