Vexcel offers high-resolution aerial imagery, elevation models, and property data across New York State, covering all 62 counties. Our comprehensive geospatial data supports infrastructure and roadway planning, construction, environmental and utilities analysis, property assessments, and change detection. We cover urban centers such as New York City—including the boroughs of Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island, and the Bronx—as well as other major cities like Buffalo and Rochester, and rural areas throughout the state.
Orthomosaic Imagery
Vexcel offers three types of orthomosaic imagery in New York: TrueOrtho, Urban Ortho, and Wide Area Ortho.
Wide Area Ortho is available statewide, covering both urban and rural areas at a 15cm resolution. It provides a broad top-down view ideal for large-scale planning, environmental monitoring, infrastructure management, and more.
TrueOrtho and Urban Ortho are available in metro areas at a 7.5cm resolution, offering detailed aerial imagery that’s ideal for urban planning and property assessments.
Our entire Ortho product line is frequently updated, with metro areas being refreshed up to three times a year, ensuring you have the most current data for your projects.
Oblique Imagery
Shift your view with high-resolution Oblique imagery and take a virtual tour around all four sides of a home, building, or area. Improve your inspection or asset monitoring by identifying concerns or issues that wouldn’t normally be visible with a straight down viewpoint. Get greater context of a landscape using detailed Oblique imagery.
Elevate
Elevate depicts 3D height information of the earth in high-spatial resolution across both urban and rural areas in New York. Created during Vexcel’s aerial captures, customers get a real pixel-to-height data match with other Vexcel aerial products. The result: A perfect spatial alignment between elevation data and imagery for a more consistent and trusted accurate output.
Multispectral Imagery
Using its market-leading UltraCam sensors, Vexcel collects a near-infrared color band while capturing aerial imagery of urban and rural areas across New York. This wider color spectrum-invisible to the human eye-makes it easier to identify living and non-living objects. This type of data is ideal for classifying areas at risk for wildfire, or when reviewing areas post-disaster to quickly determine what vegetation is still living and what has been destroyed.
Elements
