High-resolution aerial imagery from our Gray Sky response to the Dragon Bravo Fire is now available on the Vexcel Platform and partner sites. This 10cm ortho and multispectral imagery focuses on the most severely damaged areas on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, including impacted structures.

Fires remained active during our collection, and our collection team worked around smoky conditions to capture this imagery.

Customers can now view and analyze the fire imagery to support response, recovery, and assessment efforts. We’ll continue to monitor the fire.

Our Gray Sky Team has been closely monitoring the fires around Grand Canyon National Park and today activated a crew to collect high-resolution aerial imagery of damaged properties and structures on the North Rim.

This collection supports damage assessment of the Dragon Bravo Fire, which has impacted more than 11,000 acres and burned dozens of structures, including the historic Grand Canyon Lodge, employee housing, and critical infrastructure. The nearby White Sage Fire, also lightning-caused, continues to burn as well. The fires have closed many trails in Grand Canyon National Park.

Both fires remain active, driven by high winds and dry conditions. Our Gray Sky imagery focuses on the most heavily damaged buildings to support response and recovery.

This imagery is now on its way to processing and will be made available as soon as possible in the Vexcel Platform.
