Vexcel captures high-resolution aerial imagery and geospatial data across urban and rural areas in all 88 counties of Ohio. Our data provides essential insights for infrastructure and roadway planning, environmental and utilities assessments, property analysis, change detection, and high-definition mapping. We cover major cities like Columbus, Cleveland, and Cincinnati, as well as other cities including Akron, Dayton, Youngstown, Cuyahoga Falls, Wooster, and Strongsville, along with rural areas throughout the state.
Orthomosaic Imagery
Having access to detailed, top-down views helps you see areas at wide scale across Ohio’s rural areas or in rich definition in densely populated metro areas.
Wide Area Ortho is collected across the whole state at a resolution of 15cm. TrueOrtho and Urban Ortho provide views of urban areas at 7.5cm resolution.
Oblique Imagery
Shift your view with high-resolution Oblique imagery and take a virtual tour around all four sides of a home, building, or area. Improve your inspection or asset monitoring by identifying concerns or issues that wouldn’t normally be visible with a straight down viewpoint.
Oblique imagery is available for major metro areas in Ohio at 7.5cm resolution.
Elevate
Elevate depicts 3D height information of the earth in high-spatial resolution across both urban and rural areas in Ohio. Created during Vexcel’s aerial captures, customers get a real pixel-to-height data match with other Vexcel aerial products.
The result: A perfect spatial alignment between elevation data and imagery for a more consistent and trusted accurate output. Vexcel offers digital surface models (DSM) and digital terrain models (DTM) for Ohio.
Multispectral Imagery
Using its market-leading UltraCam sensors, Vexcel collects a near-infrared color band while capturing aerial imagery of urban and rural areas across Texas. This wider color spectrum–invisible to the human eye–is published as color-infrared imagery, making it easier to identify living and non-living objects.
This top-down imagery helps classify areas at risk for wildfire, understand impervious surfaces and vegetation health, and more.
