Aerial Data for Urban & Rural Areas
Access to real ground truth starts from above with the ability to capture reality in remarkably sharp resolution. Vexcel flies regularly across urban, suburban, and rural areas of the Netherlands, including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Tilburg, Groningen, Almere and more. Aerial imagery is collected using award-winning camera sensor technology. That aerial data is then put through a rigorous production process to produce imagery that is 16 times clearer than satellite imagery. It’s a complete end-to-end technology solution offering compelling location content to help you plan your projects with confidence.
Urban & Wide area collections
7.5cm resolution for urban areas
15-20cm resolution for rural areas
Oblique
Optimize your location-based analyses with our ultra-high-resolution Oblique imagery in urban areas. It helps you see the world from multiple viewpoints, giving you the ability to virtually tour a property or location with ease. Get access to all four cardinal directions–north, south, east, west–to improve your perspective and understanding of a location.
Delivered at a resolution of 7.5cm, imagery is matched against ground control points in a lossless compression format where the integrity of each pixel is maintained and is accurate to within a two-pixel standard deviation. This results in incredible detail with valuable metadata you can extract from the image directly or integrate into powerful analytics platforms.
TrueOrtho
Make more informed decisions with confidence by using high-resolution TrueOrtho aerial imagery in urban areas. It helps bring the real world into view with consistency and unmatched accuracy.
Our TrueOrtho imagery is matched against our Digital Surface Model, to create a more accurate top-down view of urban areas. This means you get imagery with no visible seamlines or parallax (building lean), all delivered at a resolution of 7.5cm.
Ortho
Go beyond densely populated urban areas–such as Amsterdam or Rotterdam–to wide open, rural locations with Ortho aerial imagery. It’s high-resolution data that was made for measuring. Pull up a site or structure and calculate the area or measure distances between objects.
With Ortho imagery, you get a more complete picture of larger areas at scale, more than a drone could capture and higher resolution than satellite imagery. It’s a better view to help improve your site or location knowledge.
Multispectral
Bring the unseeable into view with our Multispectral aerial data, a better way to improve your imagery analysis. Near-infrared (NIR) imagery is collected during our regular captures and is processed and delivered as Color-infrared (CIR).
This colorized form of imagery highlights details that can’t be seen with the naked eye. It helps viewers quickly categorize vegetation and other surfaces, helping identify plant health, soil moisture, water clarity, and wetland mapping. It’s extremely valuable data for monitoring environmental changes.
Elevate: DSM & DTM
With Digital Surface Model (DSM) and Digital Terrain Model (DTM) data, you can transform your workflows with a stronger context and deeper understanding of the earth’s surface and structures on that surface. DSM data provides a 3D view of objects that sit on the earth’s surface. DTM shows the bare earth with objects removed. Plus, our DSM data has a perfect pixel-to-data match with our TrueOrtho and Multispectral imagery, creating perfect spatial alignment between elevation data and imagery for a more consistent, trusted output.
Property Attributes
Get access to 20+ property-level attributes in urban residential areas across Australia. In just seconds, view vital property facts such as roof condition, building outlines, and whether the property has solar panels, swimming pool, and more.
By applying machine learning across Vexcel’s consistently accurate, high-resolution aerial imagery, you get instant, actionable insights without ever setting foot on the ground. All you need are the location coordinates to view the latest property attributes by using Vexcel’s APIs and web-based application, Viewer.
